About Us
what we do for students
Developed in 2005, the 49er Finish Program assists former undergraduate UNC Charlotte students with completing their degrees through personalized advising services. The program aims to make the transition as smooth as possible for 49er Finish students returning to UNC Charlotte.
Offered through the Office of Adult Students & Extended Services (OASES), the 49er Finish Program serves as a model degree completion program across the state and nation. Recently the program was named a ‘Model of Excellence’ in the winter edition of the University Business Magazine.
WHAT WE DO FOR Stakeholders
Are you a faculty, staff or community member? Our Advisors are knowledgeable about readmission processes, university policy, literature and research around adult and readmitted students, and best practices in adult student services and advising.
We have engaged in consulting, presentations, and workshops as we are passionate about the development and continued enhancement of readmitted student initiatives. Review our Workshops & Training tab to learn more and request a program.
Staff also created an innovative model to be emulated by UNC System Institutions in 2015.
